Compassionate, helpful, honest, loyal, and perseverant: do those sound like qualities you'd like to instill in your daughter? What about pure, resourceful, respectful, responsible, and reverent? If you are looking for a place where your precious daughters can grow into women of integrity, take a look at the country's newest and fastest-growing scouting organization, American Heritage Girls (AHG).  AHG is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.

American Heritage Girls’ Troops are made up of groups of girls aged 5-18 who meet together to enjoy learning new skills, giving service, growing in their faith, practicing leadership, experiencing teamwork, building friendships and strengthening character. AHG has a multi-level structure, which means that girls from all levels comprise ONE troop and meet together as a single troop on the same night.  Badge work and certain activities are done within age appropriate groups (units). The girls are able to mentor one another in a large group setting and then break into age appropriate units to achieve the unit’s goals for each meeting. These Troops are led by dedicated adult volunteers who facilitate the AHG program while recognizing girls’ valuable input.

Currently there are more than 12,000 members in American Heritage Girls who meet across the United States.  Each AHG Troop reflects the “personality” of their Troop Leadership and Charter Organization as the Charter Organization utilizes the AHG program to achieve its ministry goals for youth.

We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month in the Scout Hut which is the building in the back of the property at St. James The Apostle Catholic Church at on Aldine Westfield Rd in Spring Texas.  Drop by and check us out.
